Welcome

The German Malawi Association (DMaG) is an association of private individuals and organizations from the fields of development cooperation, culture, politics and business. As a non-profit organization, we offer a platform and a network for interested parties as well as for and in Malawi engaged persons.

As a link, the association contributes to international understanding between Germany and Malawi. The aim is to create a foundation for associations and private individuals active in Malawi by pooling forces.

In Germany, we want to promote knowledge about Malawi – one of the poorest, but also most beautiful countries in Africa.

What do we do?

• Information work about Malawi, e.g. through newsletters
• Promoting cultural exchange, e.g. concert tours by Malawian artists in Germany
• Supporting suitable social, medical and nature conservation projects in cooperation with our member organizations
• Supporting meaningful development projects in Malawi, e.g. solar energy
• Cooperation with governmental and non-governmental bodies in both countries

The German Malawi Association is registered in the lobby register of the German Bundestag.
